I'm Mikael "Mickey" Petersen, a senior full-stack engineer in Amsterdam. Through my studio I build websites for growing businesses and help development teams ship better software.

I care about outcomes more than output: interfaces everyone can use, content teams that can publish without waiting on developers, and data that shows what's actually working. I've built and run web platforms for companies selling across many markets, and I bring the same standards to projects of every size.

My route into tech wasn't the usual one. I started out as a lawyer, which left me with a love of clear structure and careful writing. Since moving into engineering I've led frontend teams, built component libraries, run workshops and helped hire engineers. I work in English and Swedish.
